چکیده

Abstract Dehydroaromatization of methane (MDA) reaction was investigated over platinum modified Mo/H-ZSM-5 catalysts which were pre-carbided at 750 °C. The influence on the catalytic performance and product selectivity for MDA 700 °C studied. presence led to a slight decrease in conversion from 7.5 4.2%. Aromatic selectivities above 90% obtained with containing low loadings (0.5 1.0 wt.%), benzene being most prominent product. A coke deposits noted zeolite catalysts. comparative study performed compare platinum, palladium ruthenium promoted un-promoted Mo/H-ZSM-5. catalyst proved be superior performance, higher than that found Benzene about 60% Mo/H- ZSM-5 total aromatic maintained 90%. TGA results showed reduction 50% by weight carbon deposited catalyst. Graphic abstract

Confined Carbon Mediating Dehydroaromatization of Methane over Mo/ZSM‐5

Non-oxidative dehydroaromatization of methane (MDA) is a promising catalytic process for direct valorization of natural gas to liquid hydrocarbons. The application of this reaction in practical technology is hindered by a lack of understanding about the mechanism and nature of the active sites in benchmark zeolite-based Mo/ZSM-5 catalysts, which precludes the solution of problems such as rapid ...

Low-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over noble metal promoted Fe-ZSM-5 catalysts

We have reported previously the excellent performance of Fe-exchanged ZSM-5 for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia at high temperatures (300–400 C). In this work, we found that the reaction temperature could be decreased to 200– 300 C when a small amount of noble metal (Pt, Rh, or Pd) was added to the Fe-ZSM-5. The SCR activity follows the order Pt/FeZSM-5 > Rh/Fe-ZSM-5 > Pd...

Optical properties of chalcogen-loaded zeolite (ZSM-5)

Sulfur, selenium, and tellurium were loaded into sub-mm size ZSM-5 single crystals and the optical properties have been comparatively studied. S and Te show similar features, while Se is unique. S and Te have optical absorption edges at wavelengths of ~400 nm with transmission dips at ~450 nm, while Se has the edge at ~550 nm. The three materials provide photoluminescence at visible wavelengths...

Selective Coke Combustion by Oxygen Pulsing During Mo/ZSM‐5‐Catalyzed Methane Dehydroaromatization

Non-oxidative methane dehydroaromatization is a promising reaction to directly convert natural gas into aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrogen. Commercialization of this technology is hampered by rapid catalyst deactivation because of coking. A novel approach is presented involving selective oxidation of coke during methane dehydroaromatization at 700 °C. Periodic pulsing of oxygen into the methane...

Noble metal ionic catalysts.

Because of growing environmental concerns and increasingly stringent regulations governing auto emissions, new more efficient exhaust catalysts are needed to reduce the amount of pollutants released from internal combustion engines. To accomplish this goal, the major pollutants in exhaust-CO, NO(x), and unburned hydrocarbons-need to be fully converted to CO(2), N(2), and H(2)O. Most exhaust cat...
